Description:
This is a unique Jetline adaptation of a standard seam welder. The major problem in the use of longitudinal seam welders is the time required for the loading the part for welding. This is a time consuming process and is not compatible with the needs of high production.
Jetline’s range of automatic seam welders overcomes this problem. A specially designed mandrel with custom-designed tooling operates in conjunction with tabletop-mounted alignment and hold-down devices to completely automate the loading, aligning and part clamping processes.
Jetline automatic seam welders are supplied with the unique 9500 microprocessor control. Both the loading and welding operations are automatically controlled. Closed loop control of the welding parameters provides consistent, accurate welding conditions. Encoder weld length control provides "edge to edge" welding - every time.
Parts can be welded with the GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), or plasma welding process. Typical production rates for parts up to 12" (300 mm) long are 120 per hour. As the complete process takes place automatically, one operator can be used to tend two machines providing the ultimate in seam welder productivity.
