Description: The system includes a powered headstock with a variable speed drive, the headstock is fitted with a machined faceplate. The unit has its own microprocessor drive or can be coupled with any of Jetlines range of controls. The machined bed supports an air-operated tailstock with a machined faceplate. This can be moved to any position along the bed of the lathe and then locked into position. The unit illustrated has a powered tailstock. This can be driven to any position and is then automatically locked.
The CWL fixture features a separate track and carriage system. The track is mounted behind the circumferential fixture and can carry one or more carriages. It is therefore possible to set up the system with dual welding heads. The carriage shown is carrying a TIG welding head with arc length control and wire feed.
