Description:
Jetlines bench style seam welders
are designed for low volume applications, the unit shown is equipped with
the optional base.
The welding torch mounts on a powered carriage that
rides on
a track above the weld joint. The carriage is
powered by a linear drive with a variable speed motor.
The carriage is equipped with a dual-axis precision cross slide to correctly position a welding torch over the seam.
Parts are clamped in the seam welder by copper tipped
fingers. Clamping pressure is caused by two hoses that provide a clamping force of up to 2,500 lbs. (1,100 kg)
per foot. The clamping pressure is adjustable and can clamp parts from 0.020" to
3/16" (0.5 to 4.8 mm) thick. The clamping fingers are actuated by two foot pedals, one for the rear and
one for the front bank of fingers.
Jetline bench style seam welders are provided standard with Jetlines unique 9627 microprocessor
weld control. This control provides adjustment of
carriage travel speed and sequencing for the
welding process.
