Description:
This system is based upon a standard LWS style
longitudinal seam welder and is used to carry out external welding. The system uses a standard tabletop design with Jetline’s unique clamping feature.
A standard track with hardened roundways is mounted on the tabletop. A carriage is driven on this track to provide the weld travel. The carriage carries a complete set of AC/DC TIG welding equipment including an arc length control and cold wire feeder.
In place of the normal fixed base and mainstay which is used on Jetline external welders, in this case, the tabletop rides up and down on a vertical track. Vertical elevation is hydraulically actuated. The tabletop is designed to lift and lower a distance of 4 ft (1.2 m). A cart is provided to aid in the loading and unloading of the aluminum cylinders.
