Jetline's range of Precision Lathes is designed to provide the highest accuracy combined with load carrying capacity in the industry. They are suitable for the welding of micro-miniature components and are equally at home in high volume production applications for the automotive industry.

All Jetline precision lathes include the following features:

  • Precision aluminum extrusion base with hardened and ground roundways featuring very precise parallelism.

  • Tailstock carriage which rides on the roundways using recirculating ball bearings.

  • Torch carrying bracket using the same type of bearings.

  • Rotational accuracy within ±0.0005" (0.01 mm).

  • Linear accuracy better than ±0.001" (0.2 mm).

Three models handle parts up to 500 lb. (225 kg) and up to 12" (300 mm) diameter; lengths are available from 4" (100 mm) up to 24" (600 mm) or even longer.

All models are equipped with a DC drive motor with variable microprocessor speed control. The headstock rotates in pre-loaded, tapered roller bearings. High precision speed controls are optionally available.  Jetline manufactures a complete range of automation components including Arc Voltage Controls, Cold Wire Tig Feeders, Weld Oscillators,  and Microprocessor controls for a complete automated system.

 

Jetline manufactures a complete range of options for our welding lathes.: Tables, Tilting bases, chucks, live centers, custom tooling, microprocessor controls, arc voltage controls, cold wire tig feeder, mechanical and magnetic oscillators. With our automation upgrades a fully automated system can be achieved.
