WELD OSCILLATORS

  

To provide arc oscillation by a mechanical system.

Increased production rates and better arc control result from the use of a weld oscillator.

Mechanized Weld Oscillator ( Weaver )

This unit consists of a control and a slide. The slide is designed to carry the welding head and is capable of carrying loads up to 150 lb. (68 kg). It is powered by a stepper motor driving a ball screw.

The control provides full, remote control of the movement of the slide. It includes the following controls:

  • Speed - leftwards  (0 - 100 IPM (0 to 2,500 mm/min)
  • Speed - rightwards  (0 - 100 IPM (0 to 2,500 mm/min)
  • Stroke Width  (0 to 4" (0 to 100 mm)
  • Center Adjustment  (0 to 4" (0 to 100 mm)
  • Dwell Time - left  (0.03 to 3 seconds)
  • Dwell Time - right  (0.03 to 3 seconds)
